Job Summary:
Responsible for managing environmental compliance, monitoring, and reporting for mining and mineral projects. The role involves preparation of EIA/EMP reports, obtaining environmental clearances, and ensuring adherence to statutory and environmental clearance conditions for sustainable mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preparation of EIA and EMP reports for mining projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, EC conditions, and statutory guidelines.
- Monitor environmental parameters and ensure pollution levels remain within prescribed limits.
- Prepare and submit statutory compliance and monitoring reports to SPCB / CPCB / MoEF & CC.
- Support environmental management for greenfield and brownfield mining projects.
- Managing environmental lab within the mine.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Tech in Environmental Engineering or M.Sc in Environmental Science.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental management at mining projects.
- Hands-on experience in statutory compliance, environmental monitoring, and regulatory reporting along with the management of environmental lab.
