Job description
Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate financial records by ensuring timely posting of journal entries and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Generate and assist in Management Information System (MIS) reports to support decision-making.
Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other tax obligations.
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS statements, and other statutory reports within prescribed timelines.
Support internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reports as required.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial planning.
Track and monitor expenses to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Manage accounts receivable by following up on collections and reconciling incoming payments.
Monitor and analyze aging of payables and receivables to maintain healthy cash flow.
Requirements :
A qualified CA or CA-Inter with 2 years of experience
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books and QuickBooks.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS reconciliation, and accounting compliance.
