Social Media & Community Manager

The Morning Context is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media & Subscriber Community Manager to engage with, and grow our audience. This role blends strategic content creation with hands-on community building, both online and offline. If you have a passion for storytelling, an eye for design, and the energy to connect with people, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management :

You will conceptualise and execute creative content strategies across platforms (Linked, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.). You will work with and manage a social media intern with whom you will conceptualise and design visually compelling written posts, graphics, and campaigns that capture The Morning Context’s deeply researched stories. You will monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

Community Engagement :

You will manage and nurture our subscriber community by planning and hosting events, meetups, or workshops to strengthen our relationships with subscribers. The Morning Context hosts TMC Private, a monthly, in-person meet for exclusive subscribers. You will represent the brand with confidence and charisma at community events to ensure their success and growth. In order to do this, you will work closely with the company’s leadership team, editorial team, vendors and influencers to expand community reach.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community management.
• Strong visual design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Outgoing, approachable, and energized by connecting with people both online and offline.
• Event planning or experience running community gatherings is a plus.
• Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.
