Team Lead US Payroll

Location : Pune

Experience : 5+ years

Payroll Processing Knowledge : Strong understanding of US payroll processes, including salary calculation, taxation, benefits, deductions, and compliance.

US Tax Regulations : Knowledge of US Federal & State tax laws, payroll taxes, W-2, W-4, and 1099 forms.

Payroll Software Proficiency : Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Workday, Ceridian, or SAP.

Leadership Skills : Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a payroll team effectively.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication for interacting with US clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Attention to Detail : Accuracy in payroll calculations and compliance documentation.

Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze payroll discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.

Regulatory Compliance : Understanding of legal and compliance requirements related to payroll and employee data security.

Process Improvement : Experience in streamlining payroll processes and implementing automation.

Multi-tasking & Time Management : Managing multiple payroll cycles and adhering to deadlines.

Problem-Solving Abilities : Quick resolution of payroll issues or discrepancies.

Knowledge of Indian Payroll & Employment Laws (optional but beneficial) : Understanding of local laws to manage employee data and compliance if relevant.

Certifications (optional but advantageous) : Payroll certifications such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional), or HR certifications.
