Job description

The Relationship Manager - Acquisition is responsible for attracting and acquiring new MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) clients through effective CRM and Knowledge Banking strategies. The role focuses on building a robust Asset Book by providing Working Capital Facilities and Term Loans, while also enhancing the Liability Book through current accounts, savings accounts, and diverse trade products. The relationship manager aims to strengthen client relationships and drive profitability by cross-selling additional financial products, ensuring a seamless client onboarding experience, and meeting performance targets within the region.

Location : PAN INDIA

Key Roles :

1. Client Acquisition :

  • Proactively identify and engage new-to-bank MSME relationships through CRM methodologies.
  • Collaborate with branch banking personnel and MSME associations to facilitate introductions to potential clients.

2. Portfolio Management :

  • Build the Asset Book by offering tailored Working Capital Facilities and Term Loans to MSME clients.
  • Develop the Liability Book by promoting financial products, including Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, and Fixed Deposits.
  • 3. Profitability Enhancement :

  • Increase client retention and profitability by identifying cross-selling opportunities for additional services like POS machines, Insurance products, and Wealth Management solutions.
  • 4. Operational Collaboration :

  • Liaise with Risk, Operations, and Service teams to optimize loan processing times and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
  • 5. Performance Achievement :

  • Meet and exceed targets related to both top-line revenues and bottom-line profitability by continuously enhancing productivity and ensuring quality service delivery.
  • 6. Self-Management :

  • Set and review personal performance goals in consultation with the reporting manager, taking ownership of personal development and staying updated on industry trends.
  • 7. Risk Management :

  • Adhere to risk management policies and execute internal controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
