Software Engineer - APIGEE

An Apigee Software Development Engineer is a technical position responsible for leading the development and implementation of API solutions using the Apigee platform, acting as a subject matter expert for the team, overseeing API design principles, best practices, and ensuring the quality and scalability of API deployments while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust API integrations

About the Role :

In this opportunity as Software Engineer - APIGEE, you will :

• Deep understanding of overall API architecture and ability to define API gateways, security models, throttling mechanisms, and data transformation strategies within the Apigee platform.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, API versioning, and API documentation standards
• Proficiency in at least one programming language like Java, JavaScript, or Python​​
• Delivers end-to-end technical solutions for multiple systems or complex projects
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to API performance, security, and integration, acting as L3 contact for production support.
• Leads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Solves complex problems with minimal guidance
