Role Purpose
To lead the IBC business unit of Sintex, with full responsibility for P&L, strategy, sales, operations, and growth. The role will focus on expanding market share, driving product innovation, improving operational efficiency, and building strong customer relationships in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & P&L
- Develop and implement long-term business strategy for the IBC vertical.
- Own full P&L responsibility, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and ROI.
- Sales & Marketing
- Expand customer base across domestic and export markets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts in chemicals, food, pharma, and allied sectors.
- Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape.
- Operations & Supply Chain
- Oversee production, quality, and supply chain to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Drive capacity utilization, productivity, and operational excellence across plants.
- Product Development & Innovation
- Work with R&D to introduce new variants, improve product design, and ensure compliance with global packaging standards.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a cross-functional team (sales, production, supply chain, finance).
- Build talent pipeline and nurture high-performing teams.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain certifications and quality systems relevant to IBCs.
Key Requirements
Experience : 15–20 years, with at least 8–10 years in leadership roles in plastic manufacturing preferably plastic pipe manufacteringIndustry Exposure : Strong understanding of IBC business, packaging industry trends, and end-user segments (chemicals, pharma, agro, FMCG).Skills :Proven P&L ownership and business scaling experience.Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Experience in domestic and export markets.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Plastics / Polymer Technology.MBA in Marketing / Operations preferred.
