Cloud Engineer(on Python)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with cloud and ELK stack experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend services in Python, deploying applications on cloud platforms, and implementing monitoring and observability using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about clean code, automation, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based backend services.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting using the ELK Stack .
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal / external services.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Set up and maintain CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, and QA.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-deployed applications and services.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.).
  • Proficient with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) for log aggregation and visualization.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of CI / CD and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience with other observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
