Position Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead and manage the agro-based pulp operations for our writing and printing paper manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate must have in-depth technical expertise in pulp processing, a strong track record in operations management, and proven leadership in a high-volume, quality-driven production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead daily operations of the pulp section, ensuring optimal production, quality, and cost efficiency.

2. Oversee the handling and processing of agro-based raw materials (wheat straw, bagasse, etc.).

3. Implement best practices in chemical pulping, mechanical pulping, and environmental compliance.

4. Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot issues to maintain consistent pulp quality.

5. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality control departments for a smooth workflow.

6. Drive continuous improvement in yield, recovery, energy usage, and chemical consumption.

7. Maintain documentation related to ISO, ETP, and statutory compliance.

8. Lead and train a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators.

9. Support strategic decisions for capex planning, equipment upgrades, and process automation.

Qualification & Experience : Degree or Diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology

Experience :

1. 18-25 Years in the Writing & Printing Paper Manufacturing Industry

2. Proven track record in agro-based pulp operations

3. Experience with large-capacity plants and modern equipment preferred

Key Skills & Knowledge :

• Strong technical knowledge of agro-based pulping processes
• Familiarity with ETP operations, regulatory compliance, and process safety
• Proficient in production planning, management, and cost optimization
• Good understanding of modern paper manufacturing machinery
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor juniors
• Effective communication and reporting skills

Employment Type : Full-Time / Permanent

Working Days : 6 Days a Week (as per factory norms)
