UI Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on UI Automation Engineer experienced in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright , JavaScript / TypeScript , and Cucumber BDD . The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of automation frameworks, CI / CD integration, and quality-first engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Implement Cucumber BDD for behavior-driven test scenarios and readable test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Execute and analyze test runs, log defects, and work closely with teams for quick resolution.
• Maintain robust test data management and ensure high stability of test suites across builds.
