DB2 / ETL Developer

Role : DB ETL Developer.

Location : Bangalore.

Mode : Hybrid.

Experience : 7 to 14 years.

Required : Immediate joiners or 1 month notice period.

Skills Required :

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience as a hands-on developer in Sybase, DB2, and ETL technologies.
• Extensive experience in data integration, interface design, and development of reusable components.

Advanced knowledge of :

Python.

DB2 and Sybase.

Shell scripting (Unix / Linux).

SQL and relational database concepts.

Database design and modeling.

Writing stored procedures, performance optimization, and tuning.

Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and core DB principles.

Ability to make data-driven decisions with both hard and soft data.

Demonstrated success in delivering results and driving projects to completion.

Strategic mindset with strong technical acumen.

Commitment to continuous learning and team improvement.

Experience with API development is a plus.

Exposure to BI tools, Source-to-Pay systems like SAP Ariba, and Accounts Payable systems is a bonus.

Familiarity with Postgres and Python is advantageous.

Core Skills :

Relational Databases (DB2 & Postgres preferred).

Unix / Linux scripting.
