MES Implementation Specialist (Siemens Opcenter)

We at Engineering Industries eXcellence are looking to hire 3 MES Consultant having experience in Siemens Opcenter Discrete.

Responsibilities :

• Work in conjunction with the service manager to define project tasks, identify task duration
• Report to service manager on task advancement
• Capable of working independently under the guidance of technical leads
• Capable of understanding and troubleshooting technical issues related to software development, conflict in branches and releases, and engineering tasks
• Apply project best practices and support changes that can streamline operations
• Knowledgeable of testing / validation processes, including building the validation tests (Test Specification / Validation Specification document). Work with the service manager in executing unit tests, regression tests, integration tests, and functional tests
• Train / coach end-users on MES solutions. Help in driving solution acceptance

MES Consultants must have excellent technical abilities in order to successfully perform their job responsibilities. Applicable skills may include the following :

Aside from key technical abilities, these professionals need to have a strong ability to work in teams, even when the team is virtual and most members work remotely. MES

Consultants that have strong communication skills and help foster collaboration with other teams have a great possibility of growing into Technical Leadership roles. MES Consultants should have a high degree of adaptability in order to learn new technologies as needed and successfully manage the daily challenges of a technical environment.

Required Education :

A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required to work as an MES Consultant. A strong background in MES and manufacturing processes of either Process or Discrete industries is also recommended
