Job Title : Zonal Manager – Credit Affordable Home Loans(ticket size 5-25 lakhs)

Role Overview
Responsible for managing the end-to-end credit function for the zone , ensuring strong underwriting, adherence to credit policies, operational efficiency, and portfolio quality. The role covers customers with documented and undocumented income profiles within the housing finance segment.
General Responsibilities
- Lead the credit & underwriting function for the zone.
- Implement and enforce credit policies, processes & guidelines .
- Ensure full compliance with NHB norms, internal policies & TAT .
- Review & refine credit policies relevant to affordable housing & informal income segments .
Principal Accountabilities
Strategic
Build and manage the zonal credit structure with decentralized assessment & centralized decision-making .Maintain strong credit norms ensuring low delinquency and superior portfolio quality .Tactical
Oversee credit underwriting, risk assessment, fraud control & business support .Conduct portfolio analytics, risk reviews & MIS reporting .Improve workflows, credit processes, and system modules.Drive enhancements in product design & credit programs .Supervisory / Operational
Manage high-volume credit operations across the zone.Lead a team of 40+ credit, operations & support staff .Maintain productivity, quality & TAT across branches.Oversee loan operations, disbursements, banking & collection support .Work closely with HO, Regional teams, Sales, Credit & Risk .Manage LMS updates, customer service workflows & documentation controls .Handle PDC / ECS / NACH / CKYC , EMI banking & daily / monthly reconciliations.Monitor fund flows, liquidity planning, and working capital availability.Drive operational excellence through automation & process re-engineering .Candidate Profile
Education
CA / CWA / MBA–Finance / PGDM–FinanceExperience
15+ years in Credit, Underwriting, Credit Operations & Risk Assessment.Strong exposure to NBFC / Housing Finance / Affordable Housing .Must have 10–12+ years in NBFC handling small-ticket secured loans .Mandatory : Experience leading a team of 40 or more .Skills
Strong leadership, people management & decision-making skills.Experience across Sales support, Credit, Collections coordination, Operations & Customer Service.Strong in analytics, system implementation, automation & process improvements.Ability to drive digital initiatives and enhance internal efficiencies.
