Job Description

IIoT Project Engineer will be mainly responsible for following tasks -

• Installation, commissioning and support of PlantConnect for various applications and verticals
• Programming of PLC and HMI used as part of PlantConnect
• Establish connectivity of PlantConnect RTDAS with various PLCs, smart sensors and other equipment
• Configuration of PlantConnect
• Interactions with customer engineers related to site setup including hardware, network, cabling etc.
• Troubleshooting
• Training of users
• Documentation related to above tasks
• Any other tasks assigned by manager
• Qualifications
• Engineering graduate in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent
• PLC, HMI programming courses
• Skills
• PLC and HMI programming experience of at least one of these brands - Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, REPL, Delta
• Understanding of communication protocols like Modbus, OPC
• Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to build rapport with customer engineers and domain users
