Technical LeadershipLead and mentor a team of ABAP developers throughout the migration lifecycleConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standardsAllocate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of development components2. SAP Migration ReadinessAnalyze existing custom developments and assess compatibility with S / 4HANARedesign or optimize ABAP code for migration to the new environmentCollaborate with functional teams to validate migrated objects and processes3. Custom Development & EnhancementsDevelop and enhance RICEF objects as per migration requirementsEnsure performance optimization and clean-up of obsolete or redundant codeSupport creation and modification of SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts4. Integration & Testing SupportAssist in integration of ABAP developments with other SAP modules and external systemsSupport unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testingTroubleshoot and resolve issues during migration and post-go-live phases5. Documentation & CompliancePrepare and maintain technical documentation for all migrated and newly developed objectsEnsure compliance with project governance, audit, and quality standards.Work and Technical ExperienceMust have skills : Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across multiple modulesStrong expertise in RICEF objects, enhancement techniques (BADIs, User Exits), and performance tuningProven experience in SAP migration projectsProficiency in SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, and ALV reportingDeep understanding of SAP Data Dictionary and debugging toolsExperience with OData services and basic SAP Fiori integrationStrong leadership and team management skills, including task allocation and code reviewsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teamsGood to have skills : Experience with CDS Views and AMDP in S / 4HANA for advanced data modeling and performanceKnowledge of SAP Workflow and Web Dynpro for process automation and UI developmentFamiliarity with SAP Activate methodology and migration tools like SUM, DMO, or custom code migration toolsFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and DevOps tools for SAP developmentQualification : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field9+ years of overall experience in IT or SAP environments, with a minimum of 2+ years in SAP ABAP developmentHands-on experience in custom development, enhancements, and integration across SAP modulesExposure to database concepts and performance tuning within SAP systemsQualities : Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast growing team and firmAble to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentationsAble to consult, write, and present persuasivelyAble to work in a self-organized and cross-functional teamAble to iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedbackAble to work with teams and clients in different time zonesResearch focused mindset
