Job Description :

This role is NOT for feature writers or entertainment reporters. It is not about interviewing celebs or filing features. It is entirely about editing and restructuring copies, packaging content, visualizing page layout.

The candidate should understand the nuances of visual storytelling and be a team player who can engage with colleagues from our editorial teams spread across the country for ideas and inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Edit, rewrite, fact check stories filed by reporters
• Give catchy, newsy headlines and plan visual elements for stories
• Curate stories and packages on trending topics
• Coordinate with reporters, designers and other editorial teams
• Work within tight deadlines

Experience

Educational Qualifications :

Graduation degree in any discipline preferably in English with degree or diploma in journalism / mass communication
