Senior Detection & Response Automation Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Detection & Response Automation Engineer to join our team dedicated to building secure, scalable solutions for real-world security challenges. This is a critical technical leadership role for an experienced software developer with a passion for security, automation, and operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining the backend services and automation workflows that power our security operations, including alert triage, enrichment, and incident management. Your work will directly impact our ability to detect, analyze, and respond to threats rapidly and at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Senior Engineer, you will focus on developing robust, production-ready systems that enable our security teams to operate efficiently.

• Automation Development : Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows using Python, Go, JavaScript, and other relevant languages, specifically targeting alert triage, enrichment, and security ticket management processes.
• API Integrations : Design and implement robust integrations with external APIs (e.g., Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud platforms, and third-party SaaS security tools) to support scalable data flows.
• Enrichment Pipelines : Lead the development and maintenance of enrichment pipelines and automation playbooks, including critical functions like Indicator of Compromise (IOC) lookups, gathering user / device context, and intelligent data tagging.
• Workflow Automation : Collaborate closely with detection, incident response, and security operations teams to deeply understand their operational workflows and prioritize automating common, repeatable use cases.
• Tool Development : Design and maintain internal tools and utilities that support detection tuning, rule optimization, and automated response capabilities.
• Software Quality : Participate actively in rigorous code reviews, establish strong testing practices, and collaborate with our Quality Engineering team to ensure the highest standard of production-ready code is shipped.
