Job Description : Business Development Manager

Location : Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune

Position Type : Full-Time

Experience : 8–12 years (preferred in Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate, or related industries)

Reports To : Director- Client Solutions

Key Responsibilities :

Business Leadership :

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation for the company.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments including pitching for upcoming projects and securing contracts.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful client presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to position the firm’s brand and strengthen market presence.
  • Maintain and expand the client database;

ensure timely follow-ups for lead conversion.

  • Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and the design team to ensure requirements are clearly understood, seamlessly incorporated, and successfully delivered throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing expectations and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Represent DSP Design at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and outreach
  • Collaborate with the design leadership team to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Architecture & interior design principles, trends, and best practices in the industry.
  • Strong business development acumen with experience in pitching, client acquisition, and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Marketing, Architecture, or Interior Design.
  • MBA preferred but not mandatory if strong industry experience exists.
