As ACET Group continues its strategic growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in Kochi. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our global organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, robust reporting and ensuring adherence to all relevant Australian and international regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Zoho books and MYOB in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, client payments and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.).
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in service-based or consultancy firms.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.G. QuickBooks, Zoho Books, MYOB).
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and international financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and eager to take initiative.
  • Adaptable to new tools, technologies and evolving business needs.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Experience in migration, legal or international education sectors.
  • Familiarity with client billing models and retainer-based services.
  • Exposure to cross-border transactions and foreign exchange accounting
