The Role : Own the Engine of Execution

This is not an 'ivory tower' role. As our Engineering Lead, you are the owner of product delivery . You will partner directly with our Chief Architect and Head of Product to translate a visionary roadmap into high-quality, shippable code. You are the leader on the ground, responsible for the health, velocity, and output of our core engineering team.

Your mission is to build a high-performing, scalable engineering practice that turns brilliant designs into a reliable, enterprise-grade product.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

Lead & Mentor : Manage and grow a high-performing team of 5-10 (and growing!) software engineers. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, provide code review and design feedback, and foster the career development of every team member.
Own the Sprint : Drive our agile development process from end-to-end. You will be responsible for sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring the team is aligned, unblocked, and focused on the right priorities.
Partner with the Architect : Act as the key execution partner for our Chief Architect. You will be responsible for breaking down large-scale architectural designs into achievable tasks, user stories, and technical requirements for the team.
Drive Code Quality & Best Practices : Be the champion for engineering excellence. You will establish and enforce standards for code quality, testing (unit, integration, e2e), CI / CD pipelines, and observability.
Unblock the Team : Act as the primary technical and logistical problem-solver for your team. Whether it's a tricky design pattern, a CI pipeline failure, or a cross-functional dependency, your job is to clear the path so your team can run fast.
Be Hands-On (but a Leader First) : While this is a management role, we expect you to be deeply technical. You should be able to lead technical design discussions, review pull requests, and occasionally contribute code to high-leverage areas.

This Role is for You If...

You have 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, especially in a cloud-native environment.

You have 2+ years of direct people management or formal team-lead experience, with a proven track record of shipping complex software.

You are a pragmatic executor. You have a 'get-it-done' attitude and know-how to balance technical debt with speed of delivery.

You are an exceptional communicator. You can clearly translate abstract architectural concepts to engineers and provide concise status updates to leadership.

You are a natural leader and mentor. Your greatest satisfaction comes from seeing your team succeed and grow.

You have deep technical expertise in our stack :

Must-Have : Go (or C++ / Python with a willingness to learn Go), Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Big Plus : Deep networking knowledge (L3 / L4, BGP, overlay networks, SDN, network security) or experience with AI / ML infrastructure.
