Green Tech Investment Analyst

Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst – Accelerator will be a critical member of SwitchON’s Greenovation Hub , strengthening sourcing, evaluation, and support of climate-focused startups and NGOs. The role requires strong analytical ability, financial acumen, research skills, and excellent communication to work effectively with founders, investors, and grassroots innovators.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Hunting

• Scout high-potential startups and grassroots organisations via research, events, and networks
• Identify solutions in climate tech, agri-tech, renewable energy, and clean air sectors

Evaluation & Investment Support

• Analyse business models, traction, team capabilities, and financial health
• Prepare investment memos and financial models;

assist with presentations to investment committees

Founder Readiness & Documentation

• Build structured data rooms and investor-ready documentation
• Support accelerator programs (bootcamps, pitch days) with content and reporting

Sector Research & Insights

• Conduct in-depth research to track trends and create reports / whitepapers
• Provide insights to guide pipeline development and fund strategy

Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with the core investment and program team
• Represent EarthON in external stakeholder engagements (founders, investors, NGOs, ecosystem players)

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Educational Qualification

• No strict requirement;

exposure to entrepreneurship, E-Cells, or startup ecosystems preferred

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in startups, consulting, or strategy
• Experience in climate innovation, sustainability, or accelerator / incubator programs is desirable

Reporting Structure

Reports To : AGM (Assistant General Manager)

Travel Requirements

Extensive travel to visit incubatees and participation in bootcamps, immersions, or ecosystem events

Compensation

Remuneration up to Rs. 8 LPA , aligned with experience and sector standards
