Role Summary :

We are seeking a high-caliber Data Migration Lead to spearhead complex and challenging enterprise data transitions. In this pivotal role, you will act as a "Data Transformation Architect," responsible for the end-to-end migration lifecycle from legacy systems (such as Oracle EBS, Dynamics 365, or SAP) to modern platforms like Salesforce.

You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution by building data models from scratch, designing sophisticated ETL workflows, and ensuring 100% data integrity through rigorous reconciliation.

The ideal candidate is a technical powerhouse with hands-on experience in high-pressure environments, capable of mentoring a cross-functional team to achieve precision-driven migration results.

Responsibilities :

- Strategic Migration Governance : Coordinate directly with clients to determine data requirements, architect custom data models, and prepare comprehensive source-to-target data mappings.

- ETL & Integration Leadership : Evaluate disparate source systems to determine optimal extraction methodologies, leveraging SOAP/REST APIs and cloud services to move large volumes of data concurrently.

- Data Quality & Cleansing : Lead efforts to cleanse, de-duplicate, and standardize data to eliminate potential migration failures and ensure target system stability.

- Validation & Reconciliation : Perform exhaustive pre- and post-migration validation, generating Data Reconciliation Reports to prove accuracy and consistency to stakeholders.

- Testing Architecture : Establish and oversee rigorous testing procedures, ensuring that migrated data aligns perfectly with client specifications and business triggers.

- Technical Design & Documentation : Author the Technical Design Document (TDD), mapping specifications, and analysis reports to serve as a blueprint for the current and future migration projects.

- Process Automation : Design workflows and triggers that support complex business processes like Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) or Quote-to-Order during the migration phase.

- Team Mentorship & Delivery : Collaborate with and guide the engineering team, providing technical support to resolve performance bottlenecks and ensuring all deliverables meet high-pressure deadlines.

- Deployment & Sign-off : Manage the final data load execution, following best-practice protocols and obtaining formal client sign-off for production transitions.

Technical Requirements

- Migration Expertise : 710 years of experience as a Data Migration Technical Lead on complex, large-scale projects.

- ETL Tool Mastery : Strong experience with enterprise tools such as Pentaho, Informatica, MuleSoft, DataStage, or SSIS.

- Database & Query Proficiency : Expert-level SQL skills and experience working with diverse database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

- Programming Skills : Hands-on proficiency in Java or JavaScript for custom transformation logic and API implementation.

- System Knowledge : Experience in data mapping for Salesforce, Oracle Cloud, Dynamics 365, or SAP.

- Data Formats : Expertise in handling various formats including XML, JSON, and flat files via SOAP & REST Services.

Preferred Skills

- Platform Exposure : Specific experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Informatica Cloud (IICS).

- Domain Depth : Knowledge of Supply Chain Management or CRM business processes.

- Cloud Infrastructure : Familiarity with AWS S3, Azure Blob, or GCP storage for staging large datasets.
