🧠 Roles & Responsibilities

Engage directly with end users to understand requirements and define use cases.
Design, build, and deploy Python applications for Edge Gateway devices .
Implement and optimize algorithms for edge environments .
Build reusable, scalable code and libraries for future use.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IoT, platform, and infrastructure teams.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications in Python .

Strong knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID design patterns, Abstraction, Encapsulation, and Modularity .

Experience with communication protocols such as MQTT and Kafka .

Strong knowledge of container technologies : Docker & Kubernetes.

Experience with CI / CD , Agile methodologies , Git , Test-Driven Development (TDD) , and integration testing .

Proven skills in code optimization for resource-constrained real-time environments (e.g., GPU, TPU ).

Working knowledge of IoT architecture , network topologies , and IoT security .

Proficiency with Linux and Bash scripting .

Experience with single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi) and virtual machines (e.g., VirtualBox, VMware) is a plus.

Experience with embedded software development (RTOS, ADC, buffers) is a strong advantage.

Self-starter mindset – able to work independently in a dynamic, startup-like environment .
