Role Overview
As a
Teacher Recruiter
, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding high-quality tutors who align with Mentor Match’s educational philosophy. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a strong pipeline of passionate, skilled educators who can deliver exceptional learning experiences to students across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment :
Source, screen, and interview potential tutors (academic and non-academic subjects).
Talent Sourcing :
Leverage job portals, LinkedIn, teacher communities, and referrals to identify qualified candidates.
Candidate Assessment :
Evaluate teaching skills, communication abilities, and subject expertise through structured interviews and demo sessions.
Onboarding :
Coordinate documentation, orientation, and platform training for new mentors.
Database Management :
Maintain accurate and updated tutor profiles in the CRM / recruitment system.
Collaboration :
Work closely with the student success and operations teams to ensure alignment between tutor quality and student needs.
Brand Advocacy :
Represent Mentor Match positively in all educator interactions and online communities.
Continuous Improvement :
Collect feedback from tutors and help improve the recruitment and onboarding process.
Key Requirements
Experience :
1–3 years of experience in recruitment (preferably in the education or edtech sector).
Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to assess teaching talent and attitude.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Familiarity with recruitment tools (e.G., LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, etc.) and CRM systems.
Preferred :
Prior experience hiring teachers / tutors / faculty.
Understanding of K–12 education and tutoring dynamics.
