Project Description :

  • One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
  • This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.
  • This will allow you to learn & grow with the Trading & Risk domain along with the supervision of senior team member.

Responsibilities :

  • As Murex Datamart Reporting Consultant, you will be part of application development and maintenance projects, Mx-upgrade implementation projects.
  • As part of the team, you will be involved in planning, design, and solutions around Murex Datamart.
  • Support senior team members in collecting and documenting business and technical requirements related to the Murex upgrade.
  • Help in basic configuration tasks and environment setup under guidance.
  • Maintain clear and updated project documentation, including test results, issue logs, and status reports.
  • Work closely with finance, risk, accounting, and back-office teams to understand processes and support project needs.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as needed.

    • Mandatory Skills Description :

  • 0.5 to 2 years of experience in IT Projects
  • Strong academic background in business, finance, mathematics, and accounting
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Technical skills : SQL, Unix
  • Dictionary SQL XML
  • Financial products knowledge in FX, FXD, IRD, EQD
  • Good knowledge on trade life cycle management
  • Ability to work proactively and independently when necessary, and displays strong initiative
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent team player and multicultural awareness

    • Nice-to-Have Skills Description :

  • 1-2 years of Murex experience will be preferred.
