Business Development Executive
Location : Panjim, Goa
Reporting to : Business Development Manager
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's reach, ensuring successful B2B and B2C market penetration , and executing well-researched business strategies. This role demands a dynamic professional who is entrepreneurial, analytical, and results-driven , with the ability to navigate through the complexities of high-growth industries .
Key Responsibilities
Business Opportunity Research & Strategy Development
- Identify, qualify, research and secure new business opportunities through comprehensive research, networking, and market intelligence.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand emerging trends, competition, and potential growth avenues.
- Set up B2B and B2C sales channels for new business launches , ensuring an end-to-end approach from concept to execution .
- Build and nurture business relationships with existing and potential clients to facilitate business expansion .
Financial Planning & Business Growth
Research and propose operational, marketing, financial plans, including budget allocation for marketing, sales, and expansion strategies .Formulate, document, record and present business plans to Senior Management, outlining sales forecasts, market penetration strategies, and execution roadmaps .Identify strategic partnerships, investment opportunities, and potential acquisitions within the various target sectors .Track key financial indicators and ROI metrics to ensure new business ventures are meeting profitability targets.
Client Management
Handle client queries, RFPs, and contract negotiations , ensuring seamless onboarding of new customers and partners.Represent business to new clients, partners, and investors via phone calls, in-person meetings, and global industry events .Maintain a comprehensive client database to track interactions, sales performance, and business development pipelines.Market Expansion & Growth Planning
Collaborate with Senior Management to define sales goals, business development plans, and growth projections .Create detailed sales forecasts and execution plans to launch, monitor, and optimize the new FMCG business .Lead the execution of promotional events, trade shows, industry conferences, and investor presentations .Ensure seamless coordination with marketing and operationsData-Driven Decision Making
Maintain and analyze sales pipeline data, revenue forecasts, and industry insights to optimize business performance with a keen focus on ground research and industry trends.Use data-driven insights to refine market targeting, improve product positioning, and enhance competitive strategies .Monitor industry trends and consumer behaviors to adjust business approaches and stay ahead of market shifts .Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams , including management, marketing, and operations , to drive strategic initiatives.Work alongside the business development team, fostering a culture of entrepreneurial thinking and innovative problem-solving .Ensure seamless execution of short-term and long-term business development strategies in alignment with company vision.Key Requirements
Experience & Education
Experience : 3 years in business development, sales, or strategic planning .Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred .Technical & Professional Skills
Proven track record in developing and executing successful business strategies .Strong understanding of financial modelling, market research, and business analysis .Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills .Ability to develop and manage B2B & B2C distribution networks from scratch.Skills Required
