Sales Associate – Career Counselor

As a Career Counselor at Aliens Tattoo School, you are more than just a point of contact — you are the gateway to a student’s transformation. Your mission is to inspire, guide, and convert aspiring artists into confident professionals by connecting them with the right creative program.
This role blends sales excellence, empathetic counseling, and precision-driven lead management to drive admissions and ensure an exceptional onboarding experience for every student.
You will be responsible for converting inquiries into enrollments, managing your lead funnel efficiently, and supporting students throughout their decision-making journey, all while contributing to the school's growth and brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Sales Conversion
- Achieve and exceed monthly enrollment targets through effective sales pitches and follow-ups.
- Convert inquiries and leads into confirmed enrollments by understanding student aspirations and matching them with appropriate courses.
- Conduct engaging virtual or telephonic counseling presentations to inspire student confidence and drive enrollment.
- Handle objections, counsel students and parents effectively, and close admissions independently.
- Promote course upgrades, repeat enrollments, and referrals from existing students.
2. Lead Management & CRM Discipline
Own your admissions pipeline end-to-end — from first inquiry to final enrollment.Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records (Zoho) with complete tagging, notes, and status updates.Execute timely follow-ups with zero overdue tasks in the system.Use the Ozonetel dialer and Gupshup platform to manage outbound and inbound calls.Conduct lead mining to identify new opportunities from existing databases.3. Presentation Scheduling & Attendance
Book and schedule career counseling presentations with precision, avoiding overlaps or missed slots.Confirm attendance prior to scheduled sessions to minimize no-shows.Follow up on missed presentations and reschedule with urgency to ensure continuity in the sales funnel.4. Collaboration & Handovers
Align with mentors and team leaders to ensure student expectations are met post-enrollment.Seamlessly coordinate with other departments (placements, retention, etc.) and ensure timely lead handovers with full CRM updates.Maintain high-quality student experience throughout their journey, contributing to high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).5. Reporting & Quality Assurance
Submit daily EOD reports on calls, follow-ups, conversions, and overdue actions.Review weekly QA feedback, incorporate learnings, and work on continuous improvement.Maintain hygiene in communication, data entry, and professional interaction standards.Key Skills & Competencies
Sales-Driven Approach – Goal-oriented with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.Outstanding Communication – Clear, persuasive, and empathetic verbal and written skills.CRM Mastery – Comfortable with Zoho CRM, dialers, and Google Workspace tools.Counseling & Negotiation – Ability to build trust, understand student needs, and influence decisions confidently.Ownership & Accountability – Takes full responsibility for lead nurturing, conversions, and task closure.Agility & Decision-Making – Fast, focused decision-making to maintain momentum in the admissions pipeline.Qualifications & Experience
1 years of experience in inside sales, edtech counseling, admissions, or telesales.Proven success in achieving revenue or enrollment targets.Experience with CRM tools and a structured sales funnel.Background in education, career counseling, or creative industries is a plus.Performance KPIs
