Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an
Articled Assistant
at
ILESH PATEL & Co., Thane . The role involves supporting the firm’s audit, taxation, and compliance assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients. The Articled Assistant will work under the guidance of senior team members and Chartered Accountants to ensure timely and accurate execution of professional tasks.
Key responsibilities include :
Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and internal audits
Preparing and filing Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, TDS Returns, and other compliance forms
Supporting bookkeeping, accounting entries, ledger review, and financial statement preparation
Conducting research on tax and GST provisions and drafting basic notes or replies
Maintaining documentation, working papers, audit files, and client communication records
Coordinating with clients for data collection and resolving basic queries
Ensuring adherence to ICAI standards, professional ethics, and firm policies
This role offers hands-on learning, practical exposure, and structured professional development aligned with ICAI training requirements.
Qualifications
Basic Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Taxation skills
Proficiency in using accounting software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word
Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, and eagerness to learn
Enrollment in CA course with ICAI and completion of IPCC or equivalent
Previous experience or internship in accounting would be an advantage
