Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and customize ReactJS-based components and plugins for the Backstage framework.

Understand and extend core and advanced features of ReactJS, ensuring code scalability and maintainability.

Perform performance profiling, debugging, and optimization of web applications.

Work with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Esbuild, etc.) to improve developer experience and application performance.

Apply UI / UX best practices, ensuring accessibility and responsive design standards are met.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery — writing effective prompts and reviewing AI-generated code for quality and compliance with project standards.

Collaborate closely with architects and senior engineers to ensure clean, modular, and well-documented code.

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously improve the engineering process.

Required Skills & Experience

6–10 years of professional experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on ReactJS.

Deep understanding of React core concepts — lifecycle, hooks, context API, state management (Redux, Recoil, Zustand, etc.).

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques (memoization, lazy loading, virtual DOM diffing, bundle analysis, etc.).

Familiarity with Node.js frameworks (Express, NestJS, or similar).

Experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, Esbuild).

Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern deployment pipelines (CI / CD).

Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) and understanding of their responsible use.

Proactive learner with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions.
