Responsibilities :
Procurement Operations :
- Manage end-to-end procurement of spare parts and bought-out items for wind turbine service operations.
- Handle both domestic and international sourcing , including import documentation, customs clearance, and vendor coordination.
Vendor Management :
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for Gamesa WTG spare parts and services.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers across India to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and payment terms with vendors.Inventory & Logistics Coordination :
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient distribution.Monitor lead times, stock availability, and reorder points for critical components.Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations (GST, import duties, etc.).Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor performance.Cross-functional Collaboration :
Work closely with service, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.Support technical evaluations and quality checks of incoming parts.Requirements :
4–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the wind energy sector .Familiarity with Gamesa WTG models , spare parts catalogs, and service requirements.Strong knowledge of Pan India vendor landscape for wind turbine components.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
