Overview of the Job : As A&I Managers, you will act as in-house business strategy consultants. Your main responsibility is to make sure that consumer and shopper insights, both quantitative and qualitative, form the backbone of our planning and operations. You will make all the big, growth-driving decisions here.

Overview of the Function : In Analytics and Insights, we directly influence business strategy, product design, pricing, media investments and much more. We use our boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it & how we can we influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis, and good research.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Analyze data & provide insights into P&G’s monthly business process, based on both external data (e.g., market share and household consumption) and internal data (e.g., sales data).
  • Lead category or channel deep dives to identify portfolio opportunities and business drivers that will help to accelerate business.
  • Innovation projects or data science to tackle existing questions of business differently by external data, IoT, automation, etc
  • Take the initiative to use analytical methods to get insights from data that can be used.
  • Being able to demonstrate, interpret, and discuss complex data or algorithms in a way that yields clear conclusions and useful business insights
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams.
  • Job Qualifications

  • Have an MBA and know about statistical models, behavioral science, and consumer marketing.
  • Knowledge Areas : Data Science, Statistics and how they are used in Attributive and Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning, Big Data Mining, and AI.
  • Statistical Packages : SAS, SPSS
  • Programming, database, and analytical languages : Knime, Python, R, and SQL
  • Know tools for visualizing data like Power BI, Spotfire, and Tableau
  • Be creative, come up with new ideas, take the initiative, follow through, have good written and spoken communication skills, and be able to set priorities.
