Merchandiser

Carrefour, a leading global retailer, is seeking a dynamic Merchandiser to drive growth in the textile sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our business presence and market share, focusing on strong product knowledge and effective communication. You will ensure our textile products are positioned in the market to maximize customer satisfaction and drive sales. Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement merchandising strategies to ensure optimal product placement and availability across all sales channels.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure the seamless execution of product promotions and campaigns.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends, customer preferences, and emerging product lines in the textile market.

Work with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and ensure that products meet quality and sustainability standards.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to drive product performance in the textile sector.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure alignment on business objectives.

Participate in the planning and execution of promotional events, product launches, and in-store displays to maximize textile sales and brand awareness.

Monitor and adjust merchandising strategies based on performance metrics, customer feedback, and market changes in the textile industry.

Qualifications :

At least 4+ years of experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field. (Proven experience preferred)

Analytical skills and attention to detail.

Communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and merchandising software.

Passion for staying ahead of market trends and delivering solutions.

Textile industry experience is a plus
