PostgreSQL DBA L3 level expertise

Job Responsibilities : Create the objects in the database, such as triggers, indexes, etc.Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance.Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery in case a disaster destroys the database.Monitor security and prevent any unauthorized access to the databaseSchedule consistent maintenance on the serverMaintain database schemaManage database availabilityGive best practice guidance to the development teamResolve any production data issuesTablespace managementRole managementDevelop automation technologies to accelerate the process of data loading.Develop relational databasesEnsure data integrityManage user access and permissions by adding and removing users as requiredMaintain the database using different utilities. This includes using like pg_ctl and psql.DBAs are responsible for the installation, maintenance and upgradation of the database

Experience : 6+ years (relevant)Salary Package : up to 15LPA (based on experience)

Work Location : TCS Chennai (Only work from office)
