About the Role
Pinkvilla is looking for an experienced and creative Senior Manager – Social Media to spearhead our social media strategy, lead a high-performing team, and drive audience growth and engagement across all digital platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of digital trends, content behavior, and platforms that resonate strongly with Gen Z and young millennial audiences .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative, data-driven social media strategies that align with organizational goals and brand positioning.
- Oversee daily operations across all social media platforms, ensuring content is tailored to the unique tone, audience, and requirements of each channel.
- Strategically plan and manage the content calendar using advanced tools, ensuring timely and coordinated publishing.
- Lead the creation of engaging and visually appealing multimedia content, maintaining brand voice, quality, and consistency across all platforms.
- Conceptualize and execute campaigns, trends, and formats designed to appeal to Gen Z audiences , leveraging emerging digital behaviors, pop culture, and influencer engagement.
- Conceptualize, launch, and manage social media campaigns, contests, and activations to enhance visibility, engagement, and audience growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, creators, and partners to strengthen brand presence and extend audience reach.
- Conduct audience insights and behavioral analysis to refine content strategies and maximize engagement effectiveness.
- Oversee community management efforts — engaging with followers, addressing feedback, and fostering meaningful conversations.
- Monitor, measure, and report social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Insights, providing actionable recommendations.
- Stay abreast of emerging social media trends, technologies, and platform updates to continuously evolve strategy and execution.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities and inform strategic improvements.
- Define and achieve measurable objectives for brand awareness, audience engagement, and channel growth.
- Lead, mentor, and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Promote and institutionalize social media best practices across teams to ensure consistent and effective execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, creative, and brand teams to ensure cohesive communication and campaign integration.
Requirements
Proven 8+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager / Lead or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.Solid understanding of social media platforms, metrics, and best practices.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in social media management tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas tailored for Gen Z and youth-driven digital audiences .Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience in entertainment and lifestyle platforms preferred.
