Legal Manager - Litigation For a leading NBFC

Roles and Responsibilities - Choose appropriate legal action to protect the interest of the institution

• Manage cost of litigations and proceedings
• Create & implement an analytics framework to enhance ability to mitigate and manage litigations, reduce tat for replying to legal notices
• Clarifying customer queries raised through notices by replying in time and explaining him the consequences of default
• Provide support on any action or issued faced by branch officials with Police, regulatory or statutory authorities
• Providing support to Non-collection litigation related issues
• Build strong relationship with regulatory, statutory, police, enforcement agencies & vendors
• Build capability at branch level to deal with Non - Collection related litigations
• Improve ability to manage Non-Collection related litigations
• Implement a process management & improvement framework
• Ensure adherence to culture with focus on Integrity, Discipline, Teamwork (no silos) &Care
• Ensure strong corporate governance, regulatory compliance & adherence to management model
• To contest Non-Collection related cases filed against company & to Initiate cases against such persons / entities as deemed appropriate by Head Legal / Management
