Automation Test Engineer - Selenium / Java

Experience Required : 6+ Years in Automation QA

Location - Bangalore

Shift Timing : 12 : 00 PM to 9 : 00 PM (1 Hour)

Position : Automation Test Engineer (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 6+ years of proven expertise in test automation. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in Selenium with either Java or Python, along with a deep understanding of automation frameworks and modern testing practices. Exposure to performance and load testing is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts for web, API, and integration testing
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to create BDD-style acceptance criteria and translate them into executable test scenarios (Cucumber, Gherkin)
• Ensure test traceability and coverage using ALM and Jira Xray for test planning, execution, and reporting
• Track, log, and manage defects in ALM / Jira and collaborate with developers for root cause analysis and resolution
• Integrate automation tests into CI / CD pipelines and ensure timely feedback to development teams
• Conduct functional test reviews and maintain test documentation aligned with business requirements
• (Preferred) Execute performance and load tests to measure system stability, scalability, and responsiveness
• Advocate quality-first practices across the SDLC, balancing manual and automated validation
