Position : Faculty – Ai&ds Program (Computing & AI / Robotics)
Location : Chennai
Department : Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence and Robotics
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach undergraduate and / or postgraduate courses related to Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Robotics.
- Design, develop and update the curriculum to ensure alignment with current and emerging technologies (e.g., cloud‐based systems, robotics, AI / ML frameworks).
- Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions, hands-on workshops and student projects in robotics, AI / ML and cloud computing environments.
- Mentor and guide students in their capstone projects, research assignments and internships.
- Engage in research, publication and / or consultancy in areas such as AI / ML, robotics, cloud computing, autonomous systems, IoT integration and related fields.
- Collaborate with industry partners, research organizations and other academic units to enhance teaching, research and student exposure.
- Participate in accreditation, departmental planning, student evaluation, academic committee activities and continuous improvement of teaching-learning processes.
- Stay abreast of developments in robotics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and integrate these into teaching and research.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Computer Science or M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning or a closely related field.Proven knowledge of robotics (hardware or software), and cloud computing technologies.Experience with programming languages, AI / ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), robotics platforms / systems.Strong communication skills, capability to deliver lectures, manage labs, supervise projects and mentor students.Nice to Have :
PhD in Computer Science / AI / Robotics / Cloud Computing or a related discipline is an added advantage.Prior industry experience or research experience in robotics, AI / ML or cloud systems.Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings.Experience in curriculum design, accreditation processes, collaboration with industry or research projects.Key Skills :
Robotics : familiarity with sensors, actuators, embedded systems, autonomous systems or robotic frameworks.Cloud Computing : knowledge of cloud architecture, deployment of applications on cloud / edge, cloud services and infrastructure.AI / ML : strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, model deployment, data processing and analytics.Programming and tools : proficiency in languages (e.g., Python, C++ / Java), frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV), and cloud services.Teaching & mentoring : ability to explain complex concepts, engage students, design lab sessions, assess performance and support student growth.Research & innovation : curiosity for new technologies, ability to supervise student research, contribute to departmental growth, publish work.Collaboration : team player, open to industry–academia linkages, student outreach, project work and interdisciplinary engagements.
