What does a successful Java Developer do at Fiserv?

Responsibilities :

Taking up the functional and technical design with customers independently.
Liaising with internal teams for discussions on design and production issues.
Contributing to process and technical automations.
Preparing functional and technical design documents
Completing the build (coding and unit testing) for business requirements as per the design and completing the SIT and UAT movement.
Providing SIT support, UAT support, and implementation support for assigned projects
Guiding the team to complete assigned tasks as agreed with the customer
Working on assigned production incidents and resolving them within the assigned timelines

Required knowledge :

Good working knowledge of the payments domain, especially on disputes and chargeback functionality

Strong technical skills in Java / Oracle / Distributed Platform technology, including Java 1.8, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Hibernate, REST, LDAP, AM5

UI technologies : HTML, CSS, Angular JS, JavaScript

Basic working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
