Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Automation & Integration

Design and implement automated workflows for :

Mass upload / update of the proprietary platform data using structured templates or system-driven inputs.

User creation and group assignment via Lighthouse API.

Email approval and verification processes.

Integrate automation into the target digital with real-time progress tracking and visibility features.

Enable pre-production data previews for users to validate uploads before finalization.

Development & Testing

Build robust, scalable automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Azure Functions, or PowerAutomate.

Ensure seamless integration with existing CI / CD pipelines.

Conduct end-to-end testing of user addition and data handling workflows.

User Experience & Visualization

Develop intuitive UI components or dashboards to show upload progress, approval status, and data impact.

Collaborate with UI / UX designers (if available) to enhance user interaction.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with the target digital platform engineering team to align integration efforts.

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate workflows, and incorporate feedback.

Provide documentation and training materials for users and support teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, Azure Functions, PowerAutomate).

Experience with data validation, transformation, and handling large datasets.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns (e.g., Lighthouse API).

Optional / Preferred Skills

UI / UX design knowledge for progress visualization.

Familiarity with databases and structured data models.

PowerBI or similar tools for data presentation and validation.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
