CDP - Baking and Pastry is the most senior role in our production unit at Sucrose Overdose, Kolkata. Candidate will be required to ensure a smooth production process and lead the team as a unit to achieve daily targets. Person should have an understanding of modern patisserie / breads / cakes / fondant art.
Responsibilities
To ensure daily production targets are achieved
Allocate daily tasks to each person in the team
Ensure and check proper finishing of goods before dispatch to respective outlets
Keep the storage and refrigerators organised and labelled at all times
Ensure hygiene in the production process
Ensure all machines and equipments are cleaned from time to time
Should be able to work with basic excel
Should be able to receive goods from vendors
Deal Breaker Requirements
Should know lamination process for croissants
Should know how to work with chocolates
Should know fondant art
Should have basic idea of breads
Qualifications
Candidate should have at least 8 years of experience as a chef in the baking and pastry department in the industry
People with formal educational background in baking and pastry are preferred
