Senior Associate –Product Control

Job Description :

Prepare and review daily weekly and monthly P&L reports for various trading desks.

Reconcile P&L results against traders estimates and explain variances.

Ensure the completeness and accuracy of reported financial data in compliance with accounting standards .

Perform independent price verification (IPV) to validate the fair value of financial instruments.

Assess and ensure appropriate valuation adjustments for factors like bid-offer spreads liquidity and model risk.

Collaborate with the valuation team to resolve discrepancies or pricing challenges.

Monitor and report risk metrics (including market and credit risk) to ensure adherence to limits

Identify and mitigate risks in financial reporting by implementing robust controls .

Partner with internal audit and compliance teams on regulatory and risk-related concerns.

• Act as the primary liaison among front office traders operations risk management and finance financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions and business performance.
• Assist in addressing queries from senior management and external auditors.

Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements including IFRS GAAP and Basel guidelines .

Support the implementation of new accounting standards valuation methodologies and regulatory changes.

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
