Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer based in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of Yaper’s platform. You will work on software development tasks, troubleshoot issues, write and test code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal user experiences. This position requires hands-on involvement in creating responsive and efficient applications that align with our mission to enhance financial literacy and independence.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to build and scale our next-gen fintech and commerce systems.

You’ll work directly with our founding and product teams to design, develop, and deploy features that impact thousands of users.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend.
  • Develop dynamic and responsive UIs using React Native (Expo) and JavaScript / CSS .
  • Architect scalable APIs using Ruby on Rails .
  • Ensure system stability, reliability, and scalability .
  • Integrate third-party services (Meta, Google Analytics, WebEngage, Branch, Bedrock, etc.).
  • Use AWS , Docker , and Sentry for deployment, monitoring, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and stakeholders for high-speed execution.
  • Write clean, modular, testable code — and care about the product as much as the code.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of professional Full Stack experience .
  • Strong grasp of Ruby on Rails and React Native .
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL , ElasticSearch , and AWS .
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to performance.
  • Solid understanding of API architecture and CI / CD pipelines .
  • Ownership mentality — we love builders, not executors.
  • Bonus : prior app development or AI integration experience.
