This is a permanent post of 22.2 hours per week with Monday to Friday.
This post is pro-rata for part time hours.
An opportunity has arisen for a 22.2hour post in Outpatients and Pre-Operative Assessment. The successful candidate would be expected to work over 3-4 days covering both Outpatients and Pre Op Assessment. The job consists of chaperoning patients during examinations, taking and recording blood pressures, height, weight, pulse, temperature and urinalysis.
Phlebotomy is part of the role also and training will be provided for this. Ensuring the department and rooms are clean and set up for the relevant clinics which include ophthalmology, general surgery, general medicine, orthopaedics, renal, diabetic, respiratory, rheumatology, cardiology, Ear Nose and Throat, oncology, urology, neurology and gastroenterology. Part of the role will be to answer telephone calls, take messages and co-ordinate the running of clinics in both Outpatients and Pre Op Assessment.
