Job Title : Public Relations Manager
As the cornerstone of our organization's public image, the Public Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping our narrative and reputation through strategic communication and compelling content. This critical position requires you to position our fintech division as a thought leader in its industry, ensuring seamless alignment with our organizational goals and fostering trust among stakeholders.
The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a PR strategy that enhances brand visibility and credibility in the fintech space. Key responsibilities include forging and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers, as well as managing media queries, press releases, interviews, and event participation to ensure positive coverage.
You will also be responsible for carrying out crisis communication plans and providing timely, accurate responses to mitigate reputational risks. Furthermore, you will manage content strategies across digital and offline platforms to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand-building initiatives, creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, product FAQs, newsletters, and thought leadership articles.
Reputation management and campaign efforts involve monitoring brand sentiment through various media channels and other tools, aligning PR and content efforts with integrated marketing campaigns to amplify reach and engagement, and tracking and analyzing PR and content performance metrics such as media coverage and audience engagement.
Key challenges may include leveraging thoughtful and strategic communication approaches to maintain the director's preference for limited media interactions while building a strong and credible brand presence.
In order to excel in this role, you should possess a postgraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or English Literature, along with at least 10 years of experience in Public Relations, content strategy, or corporate communications, preferably in fintech, financial services, or a related industry.
A proven track record of managing PR campaigns and developing high-quality content is essential, as well as excellent communication skills with respect to stakeholder management vis-à-vis media houses, board of directors, and agencies.
