Role Overview
FREED is seeking an experienced, data-driven Creative and Content Strategist to lead ideation and execution of captivating content that drives paid and organic growth. This role demands a dynamic storyteller, project manager and a digital native who is both analytically driven and passionately creative - someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is obsessed with creating thumb-stopping brand narratives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the entire content lifecycle from ideation and research to planning, execution, and performance analysis for integrated campaigns across all digital channels.
Conceptualize and produce thumb-stopping hooks, brand narratives, storylines, and scripts for a variety of formats (short and long-form video, blogs, social posts, campaign copy, ad creatives, reels, and more) to engage diverse audiences, drive conversion across paid and organic channels.
Architect and manage holistic monthly and quarterly content calendars - aligning with key business milestones, growth objectives, market trends, and product priorities
Oversee and mentor a team of 2 content and script writers, providing hands-on leadership in idea generation, output quality, and skill development.
Build a strong social media presence for brand FREED by acting as a social media maverick : identify and execute on content opportunities in trending formats, reels, and emerging platforms.
Implement SEO-driven content strategies (blogs, articles, landing pages, and more) to strengthen organic ranking, search discoverability, and authority for brand FREED.
Track, measure, and report on campaign KPIs, content performance metrics and consumer engagement. Iterate messaging, format, and content mix based on insights and analytics.
Collaborate closely with design, performance marketing, product, and external partners to deliver cohesive brand experiences at scale.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and priorities while maintaining meticulous status updates for stakeholders.
Stay on the pulse of content trends, consumer behaviours, competitor strategies, and digital innovations; regularly propose new approaches to maximize performance.
Uphold brand guidelines and messaging consistency across all consumer facing assets.
Champion a data-driven culture, running regular content experiments (A / B testing, creatives, hooks, etc.) to optimize for performance and ROI.
Requirements
6+ years of relevant experience in content strategy, creative direction, ideally in growth oriented / consumer brands.
Prior experience in the fintech sector is preferred. However, candidates from other high-growth digital brands with relevant skillsets and a passion for fintech are encouraged to apply.
Proven expertise in project management; able to coordinate multiple campaigns and priorities without compromising quality or deadlines.
Highly data-driven : advanced ability to interpret content and campaign analytics to shape strategy and improve results.
Exceptional storyteller with demonstrated ability to create thumb-stopping, platform-optimized content across paid and organic channels.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and emerging digital trends.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
