Job descriptionExperience with monitoring and logging tools (e.G., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Familiarity with cloud-native design patterns and distributed systems. Exposure to security best practices in infrastructure and backend development. Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Go for infrastructure provisioning. Build and manage infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and other IaC tools. Participate in live coding walkthroughs and screen-sharing sessions to review and explain code with engineering leads. Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support infrastructure automation. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement CI / CD pipelines and integrate with Git-based workflows. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability. Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to align infrastructure and application needs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to infrastructure and backend services. Document technical designs, decisions, and processes for internal use and future reference.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, including concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Familiarity with CI / CD tools and practices.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team setting.
- Comfortable with live coding sessions and walkthroughs.
