Data Modeler - SQL / Data Warehousing

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize robust data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support analytics and business reporting needs.
• Leverage Advanced SQL skills for efficient data querying, transformation, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging native services and tools.
• Architect and implement scalable Data Warehousing (DWH) solutions for storing and analyzing large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.
• Integrate data from ERP systems such as SAP and other enterprise platforms into centralized repositories.
• Perform comprehensive data discovery, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality, trust, and compliance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and ensure adherence to data engineering best Skills & Experience :
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Modeling roles, with at least 5+ years in the Banking / Financial Services domain.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization (Rating : 10 / 10).
• Strong hands-on expertise in data modeling including conceptual, logical, and physical schema design.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses for enterprise-scale analytics.
• Familiarity with ERP data structures (e.g., SAP) and integrating ERP data into centralized data platforms.
• High attention to data accuracy, governance, and validation standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced to Have :
• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Exposure to data governance frameworks and tools
• Prior experience working in Agile teams
