Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Head to lead our Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA / QC) function at our electronics manufacturing plant. This senior leadership role requires a blend of strategic oversight, process ownership, and deep technical expertise in electronics manufacturing processes .

You will be responsible for driving zero-failure quality standards , ensuring end-to-end process compliance, and establishing strong systems for field data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions . The role involves leading a team of quality engineers while working closely with production, R&D, and customer support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Oversight
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of quality engineers.
• Establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the plant.
• Quality Systems & Standards
• Own the overall quality strategy, ensuring compliance with ISO, IEC, and industry standards .
• Drive process standardization, audits, and certifications.
• Define, track, and improve process capability indices and quality KPIs.
• Product Reliability & Field Data Analysis
• Collect and analyze product failure data from the field, identifying recurring issues.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure systematic closure of field complaints with minimal recurrence.
• Manufacturing Process Quality
• Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product validation.
• Implement quality control plans for SMT, PCB assembly, and end-product testing.
• Deploy tools such as FMEA, Six Sigma, and 8D Problem Solving .
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with R&D to incorporate manufacturability and reliability into new product designs.
• Partner with Production to improve yield, reduce rework, and minimize customer returns.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure quality of components and sub-assemblies.
