Hiring for the following
Job Vacancy : Role : Senior Accountant (Property Management)
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions including Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Payable (AP),
Accounts Receivable (AR), and Journal Entries.
Maintain general ledger, post transactions, and assist with month-end and year-end closingprocedures.
Prepare and review Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow) incompliance with US GAAP.
Reconcile discrepancies in accounts, including tenant payment histories, vendor invoices, andproperty-related expenses.
Ensure all property-related transactions are recorded accurately, including maintenance costs,taxes, insurance, and other operational expenses.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, including variance analysis for budget versus actualperformance.
Provide financial performance metrics such as Net Operating Income (NOI), Cap Rate, and ROI tosupport management decision-making.
Support the preparation of property tax filings, vendor 1099 forms, and other compliance-relateddocumentation.
Assist in the preparation of property budgets and financial forecasts.Work closely with US counterparts to understand existing processes and identify improvementopportunities.
Assist with cash flow forecasting, ensuring sufficient liquidity for property operations and debtservicing.
Reconcile and clear any unreconciled transactions in various accounts.Support the preparation of monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding cash deposits andundeposited funds.
Collaborate with property managers and financial analysts to ensure accurate and timely financialreporting.
Basic Qualifications :
Should be a Commerce Graduate.Strong understanding of US Accounting principles, including US GAAP, property tax regulations, andIRS filing requirements.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in property management accounting or real estate accounting.Experience in handling property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI Software) will bepreferred.
Proficiency in General Ledger accounting, accounts payable / receivable, and month-end closingprocesses.
Strong experience with bank reconciliations, AR / AP reconciliation, and financial reporting.Experience in preparing financial statements, variance analysis, and budgeting.Should have excellent communication skills and client interaction experience, especially workingwith US-based teams.
Strong willingness to learn and grow in the property management accounting field.Should be willing to work in US shifts to coordinate with onshore teams.Can join immediately.Should work from office.Must have US Property Management Accounting experience to be considered for this opening.
