Required Experience : 5-10 years

Work location : Chennai

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Development : Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services for data ingestion and processing.
  • Data Architecture : Develop and implement scalable data architectures, data warehouses, and data storage solutions (SQL / NoSQL) on Azure.
  • Data Quality & Security : Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security through robust governance and best practice implementation.
  • Performance Optimization : Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data systems and pipelines for optimal performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, data analysts, business stakeholders, and solution architects to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
  • Automation : Implement automated data pipelines and workflows, and contribute to CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Azure Data Services : Deep knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services.
  • Programming Languages : Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data wrangling, processing, and query optimization.
  • Data Warehousing : Expertise in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration techniques.
  • Big Data & Databases : Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, big data tools (like Hadoop or Kafka), and data streaming technologies.
  • DevOps & DataOps : Understanding and application of modern engineering practices like CI / CD, DevOps, and DataOps.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and business teams.
